Heads up, there is a new TaxSlayer blog entry posted this morning regarding a check box added to the W-2 for Medicaid waiver payments. Have not tested it out yet but it claims to take care of the Medicaid waiver and the EITC. Does not mention adjusting for child tax credit or dependent day care credit. There is also a blog entry regarding the ability to enter a 2017 date of death with a caution that if the death has not been reported to Social Security and IRS it will cause a reject.
Suggest that everyone check the TaxSlayer blog site each morning as they are making changes and right now the only way to know of the changes is to check the blog.

Summary: The LC has the overall responsibility for a Site’s Operation, and the ERO, by IRS definition, has the responsibility for E-Filing tax returns. At many AARP Foundation Tax-Aide sites the LC is also the ERO and this presentation only shows the ERO portion of an LC’s responsibilities
